A 15 m high look-out tower, built in 1896 by the Rumburk chapter of the Mountain Club for Northernmost Bohemia to a desing by the local architect Hampel.
The main cost of the building, however, was borne by Rumburk councilman August Wenschluh, and it thus became known as August´s tower.
The tower underwent comprehensive renovations for its centenary.
