Starý Jičín - the part Janovice

A village situated a little bit uphill, about 5,5 km to the south-west of Nový Jičín. The village is located near the road leading from Starý Jičín to Valašské Meziřící, about 2km away from Starý Jičín. From about 1464 it belonged to the Lordship of Starý Jičín.
In the place where a former wooden mill used to stand, there is now a newly constructed restaurant "Na Větřáku".
