Milan Víšek, Dairy Products from Lipina [ Regionální výrobce nebo produkt ]

The Lipina family farm is located in the village of Mladoňovice, a local part of Lipina, 10 km from Chrudim and 9 km from the Seč water dam. It was restored in 1990 by the Víšek family after fifteen years of forced interruption of farming.

Currently, Milan Víšek, the eldest son of the Víšek family, runs the local farm. The farm mainly produces milk (some of it is processed into dairy products), and also offers customers beef from its own breeding, which it sells in the form of yard sales. In plant production, it produces fodder for cattle and food wheat.

From dairy production, the farm offers skim milk, fresh cottage cheese and also fresh cheese. Cheese lovers can taste the natural or flavoured version, with garlic, as well as the special version with bear garlic or smoked.

Since 2012, the Lipina farm has marked its dairy products with the Iron Mountains regional product certificate. The farm is connected to the FORMAN trail.

Four apartments were created by the reconstruction of a farm in the neighbourhood and formed the basis of the Lipina Pension with a focus on agrotourism. You can take a look at the operation of the farm and learn some of the secrets of primary agricultural production.

Fresh dairy products can be purchased directly at the farm on Tuesdays from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Friday afternoons from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. or in selected shops in the Iron Mountains. The Na Sklepích restaurant in Chrudim buys cheese from the farm for its kitchen.
